I doubt that you, the reader, have had more serious dental problems than mine.
Since 2011, I’ve undergone three major reconstructions. Each time, before the surgeries began, I had accepted that my mouth wouldn’t be the same again—in function or appearance.
Yet with each procedure, Dr. Nazir restored my smile to its original health, strength, and appearance.
Thank you, Dr. Nazir.

Dr. Raihan Nazir is very unprofessional and unethical. He seems to lack dental practice experience, he is rough and very dishonest, plus he made two false claims on a separate date of service for my insurance did the procedures that he did never done on me. I seen him fix my teeth fixing one day and that was my first and last visit to his office. Here was my worst experience with him, and it’s unbelievable that this dentist treated me, his patient, like that. No wonder there was no patience when I was there the whole time from the afternoon till his office closed, and that there should have been a red flag.
A) Unprofessional and unethical dental practice:
1) Dr. Raihan Nazir never informed me that he was going to use me as a subject to train an intern student in his office. I did not pay him to train a student.; 2) Dr. Raihan Nazir is rough and doesn’t seem to care for his patients. He did not even bother to ask me whether my mouth was numbed or not before he injected the local anesthesia. I still felt pain, my mouth was not numbed enough after a liquid swap to help numb the area in just a short period; 3) During the procedure, Dr. Raihan Nazir rested his hand on my face and pressed his heavy elbow on top of my eye. I couldn’t tell him because my mouth was numb. I tried to always push his hand always tried from my face, but he kept ignoring me and continued it until he was done. It’s terribly discomforting to lay down on his dental chair for hours, to endure horrible treatment from this dentist; 4) He bruised my face, plus my jaw got swollen really badly the next day from that local anesthesia that he injected me with. It took me several weeks to recover from it. Is this considered unethical and dental malpractice?
B) Dishonest advice on something I don’t have a problem with my teeth, and he billed my insurance on two dates of services that he'd never performed on me. 1) Dr. Raihan Nazir misled me to have a several of unnecessary treatments on my teeth that I don’t have a problem with. Luckily, I did not follow his advice and I went ahead to get 2nd and 3rd opinions with two different holistic dentists. Surprisingly, they couldn’t find anything wrong with my teeth, and all are in good condition. They also told me I shouldn’t have any bruises on my face with just have a local anesthesia unless the dentist hasn’t have enough experience ; 2) After my insurance found out that Dr. Raihan Nazir submitted those two false claims for thousands of dollars, so they did an audit on him and found out the fact that they were false claims, and my insurance asked Dr. Raihan Nazir to pay back a full amount of $$$. Finally, it took a few months to get the money back from Dr. Raihan Nazir.
*Hoping this review will help people to be aware of this dentist and always get a 2nd or 3rd opinion from other specialists before submitting yourself to an unnecessary, expensive procedure that any provider recommends you to do. Always check insurance statements, to prevent some dishonest providers from cheating.
When we came in Dr Nazir told us to come and have a seat, my son who had just woken up came in and sat down, he was nervous and scared; Dr nazir had him open his mouth and he asked me why I brought him in? I tried to explain to him but before I could finish he straight up told me that nothings wrong with him except the FACT that it's all my fault he has cavities, from me giving him too much candy, juice and milk. Like first of all, I hardly give my son those things. Anyone who knows me knows I’m strict when it comes to soda/candy/juices/milk; I hear what you’re saying about America and I completely agree, my son brushes his teeth 2x a day and flosses but he still managed to get a few cavities which he Zero cavities up until he started teeth grinding at the age of 4. Or what about his school or the other people he’s with? But that’s my fault to because I should know right?? I know I’m not the one with the degree and business but cavities can arise also from many other reasons or even other foods there’s lots of foods that may seem healthy like fruit and other foods but may have high sugar but he went straight to assuming candy juice soda. What I’m saying is it could’ve been anything
I came here for a consultation on my sons teeth grinding , like great I'm relieved there's nothing to worry grinding but Dr Nazir didn't know anything about me or my child, just judgement and assumptions and a lot of blaming without questions or hearing me out.
He also brought to my attention that the silver crown and fillings were p* which yes he is completely right; I tried to express that to previous dentists all assured me that it was fine and which is the exact reason why I searched for a more holistic dentists who actually cared about what goes in peoples mouths, Because I didn't want me or my son to be lied to, I didn't want my son to go through more bad experiences with dentists, But then again “blame” it's my fault for entrusting the wrong dentists in the first place. I found his dentistry because I was looking for change and I was hoping to walk into kindness because everyone spoke so highly of him.
The more Dr Nazir spoke, the more frighten my son became and started to cry, there was no kindness in his voice.
Out of curiousity I asked the lady at the front how much it would be for a filling, she was nice but also told me that they don't take kids who scare easy and recommend me going to a holistic dentist that specializes in pediatrics who can sedate him, and I appreciate the honesty.
I did update my review to 3 stars because the lady at the front was honest, and Dr nazi was honest too, he did not perform any unnecessary treatments or try to sucker me which I appreciate but I just really didn't appreciate the way he talked to me. I understand if he’s trying to educate me but maybe in a different way without blaming and shaming; I may not have had to pay for a 5 MINUTE consultation which is great, thank you for those 5 minutes but it's truly about quality service and being treated like a human being.
Dr Nazir has plenty of happy and beloved clients, and I wish I could’ve got the same feeling, I truly care about connection and treating EVERYONE with kindness and dignity. But big thank you to the front office for giving me a recommendation elsewhere
He was teaching another dentist some of his techniques and I was so impressed with their discussion. He was careful and caring and it totally relaxed me.
The assistants are amazing and skilled and Cassandra runs a smooth front office performing a variety of important tasks.
